Recruited staff & participating schools: To ensure a comprehensive and enriching Model United Nations experience, we strategically recruited experienced student officers with backgrounds in international relations, diplomacy, and debate from our IEM network across local and international schools in Korea.Â
Advised new simulation of International Court of Justice: We introduced a new simulation of the International Court of Justice (ICJ). Our IEM advisory team collaborated with legal experts and former students to design realistic case studies and procedural guidelines that mirror actual ICJ practices for use in the CIMUN. This addition provided students with a unique opportunity to engage in judicial debate, develop legal arguments, and gain a deeper understanding of international law and justice. The ICJ simulation received enthusiastic feedback from participants, highlighting its effectiveness in fostering critical thinking and legal scholarship.
