Setting up Korean chapter:
A dedicated team was mobilized to adapt the organization’s mission and programs to the unique cultural and educational context of Korea. By creating localized strategies and forging key partnerships, the chapter was successfully launched as a robust platform for youth engagement and community development.
Recruiting schools:
To build a strong foundation, extensive outreach was conducted to engage schools across Korea. This effort targeted public, private, and international institutions, resulting in partnerships with over 10 schools in the first year.
Founded Veterans Project:
As part of the chapter’s commitment to meaningful impact, the Veterans Project was conceived and launched. This ongoing initiative aims to honour and support Korean war veterans by providing students with opportunities to engage in intergenerational dialogue, document oral histories, and participate in community service activities. We are currently helping the students connect with veteran members from the Korean Armed Forces through our network.
